Legal Vacancy – Solicitor

We are seeking a junior, general practice solicitor to join our busy West Limerick Practice.

PG McMahon Solicitors LLP are experienced, award-winning solicitors who have given trusted legal services to private clients, farmers, businesses, sporting and non-profit organisations for over 60 years. Based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, we use the latest case management and legal technology and recently moved to a spacious, modern premises.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with conveyancing and probate files but will also be required to deal with general practice matters as they arise. Primarily the role will involve:

• Transactions involving homes and agricultural land.
• Drafting wills and managing probate files.
• Taking instructions in relation to new matters.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years PQE with a similar firm and practice base.
• Appropriate educational qualifications.
• A strong interest in client service and the ability to manage multiple clients and a busy workload.
• Ability to work pro-actively on own initiative as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
• Appropriate IT skills including use of case management systems, etc.
